Harry Mobbs - Manager and Director

Harry Mobbs is originally from Tonbridge, Kent. He is a sought-after conductor and singer based in the North of England, and has performed at many of the UK's most prestigious classical music venues, including The Barbican Hall, The Stoller Hall, The Bridgewater Hall, London King's Place and Birmingham Symphony Hall. Harry is a third-year undergraduate at The University of Manchester, where he has taken on various operatic roles and managed two Opera productions. Harry is currently writing a dissertation researching the development of Franco-Flemish sound worlds in the 16th Century.

As well as being a conductor of Ad Solem Chamber Choir for two years, Harry was part of the inaugural cohort of HeartEdge Manchester Choral Scholars in association with St Martin-In-The-Fields. He is a Deputy Lay Clerk at Manchester Cathedral, a member of Kantos Chamber Choir, and was part of the 12th cohort of Genesis Sixteen. In the 23/24 season Harry has sung with Echo Vocal Ensemble, London Choral Sinfonia, Kantos Chamber Choir, Coro Spezzato, Manchester Cathedral Choir and The Mancunium Consort, taking him to venues across the UK, Europe and Asia. Harry has recently been awarded a Scholarship with VOCES8 for the 24/25 season.

Harry has an incredibly strong passion for music making and is known for his bubbly and vibrant character, as well as his passion for all things Liverpool FC and Cricket!

Joseph Taylor - Director

Joseph Taylor is from Bradford, West Yorkshire, and was first exposed to music at Morland Choristers Camp where he was inspired to pursue a career in classical Music. He then began singing on the back row at Bradford Cathedral before joining Chetham’s School of Music for sixth form, where he studied Voice, Trumpet, and Piano, graduating in 2020. Currently at the Royal Northern College of Music studying classical voice with Paul Nilon, Joseph aspires to sing and conduct professionally in the industry and inspire others in the same way.


Joseph currently specialises in Choral singing, working as a Lay Clerk at Manchester Cathedral and he currently holds an apprenticeship with the Monteverdi choir and orchestra led by John Eliot Gardner. Having been a part of the Genesis Sixteen programme taken by Harry Christophers and Eamonn Dougan, he also sang as a HeartEdge Manchester/St Martin-in-the-Fields Choral Scholar. As well as this, he often takes part in recordings for the BBC, and Church of England.


Joseph continuously works on his voice’s development to keep it fresh and natural. He has a strong passion for early music and hopes to specialise in this in the future.
